Kontrast is 'Best of Westchester 2015'
Thank you for that honor...Westchester is filled with interesting, diverse offerings and a plethora of people with very different tastes from all over - not to mention many many beautiful homes! Here is what was said:The signature simple lines and materials of Danish design are on display at Kontrast, a new online boutique from Larchmont resident (and Dane) Louise Fischer. Her hand-selected, curated collection of Danish home accessories and furniture provide a welcome addition to both traditional and modern rooms.
A Profile of the Founder's Home
When Westchester Magazine asked to photograph our home I was a bit apprehensive, it's not in my [Danish] nature to put my personal self out there THAT much. But I went with it and they did a beautiful job with both images and story, thanks to the talented Nancy Soriano and Jenn Andrlik. What I like about the piece in particular is that it shows how my curated collection works in homes that are not considered all 'modern'. See the piece here.
